Recruiting General Information

Types of On-Campus Interviews

Interviews start at 9:00 a.m. in 30, 45 or 60 minute increments. Registered participants may request an on-campus interview date by calling (203) 432-0804. Two types of interview schedules are available at UCS:

• Preselect Interviews (closed): Employers choose to review in advance the resumes of interested students. This option allows you to build a schedule of specifically selected primary candidates and alternates.
• Open Sign-up Interviews: Open schedules are available on a first come, first served basis to students and recent alumni who meet the criteria specified by the recruiting organization.

On-Campus Recruiting Services and Fees

Recruiting Fees

• Fall and Spring Recruiting Season - $200 per room, per division. Employers who reserve more than one room will be charged $200 for the first room and $150 for each additional room.  Flat fees are charged for other arrangements.
• NPO’s and NGO’s – Fall and Spring Recruiting Season - $25 flat fee for interviews and/or presentations.

Fee includes:  

• Online interviewing schedule(s)
• Online resume submission to your organization
• Interview schedule(s)/room(s) as reserved
• Data hook-up for laptops (bring your own computer)

Greeter Room Fees

Fall and Spring: $150 per room (non-refundable)

Payment

• Students will not be able to view your job listing or submit resumes until we receive your check or credit card (Amex, MC or Visa only) information. 
• Please make your check payable to Yale Undergraduate Career Services or if you wish to pay by Amex, MC or Visa please have your card number ready when you call.
• Submit your Federal Tax I.D. number if you have not done so.

Refund Policy

• Recruiting fees are fully refundable if your cancellation is made 60 days prior to your interview day.
• For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to your visit, we will deduct 50% of the recruiting fee for administrative costs.
• Fees are non-refundable for cancellations made after resumes are downloaded.
• Fees are non-refundable for cancellation of greeter rooms.
