Wherever you are in the job search process—from not knowing where to start to finalizing the details of your job offer—meeting one-on-one with a counselor or peer advisor will afford you clarity and control over your career development. UCS counselors are available to discuss your career-related interests and will help you create a roadmap for your job search or graduate school plans. The goal of UCS is to teach you the strategies to manage your own career exploration and search processes throughout your career.
Students can meet with a UCS Counselor or a Peer Advisor without an appointment during open hours for quick questions, as well as brief cover letter and resume review. All Peer Advisors have been chosen based on relevant skills and experience, and have completed a thorough and rigorous training program. As Yale students, UCS Peer Advisors possess the insight and perspective to effectively relate to and understand your needs, questions, and concerns.
