The Office of Undergraduate Career Services at Yale College has many resources to assist alumni seeking career advice. Yale is committed to serving as a resource to you throughout your career. Whether you are considering going to graduate school, exploring a new career, or conducting a job search, we are here to help.
Career counselors are available to assist you with your career-related needs. Counseling appointments may be held either in person in our office or by telephone.
Please note that due to the demands on the office, the availability of alumni career counseling appointments is limited during the months of September, January and February. This excludes appointments for graduate and professional school advising. If you are in need of a career counseling appointment during these specific times, please email a summary of your situation to undergraduate.careerservices@yale.edu.
If you are exploring a new career or researching employers and industries, we invite you to Review Our Career Profiles to help you to get the process started.
Alumni are encouraged to use our Career Tools and Samples to write a compelling resume, broaden your network, conduct yourself in an interview, line up references, and evaluate or negotiate a job offer. If you are actively searching for a position, visit our Search for a Job site to use several Yale-related resources that provide job opportunities.
UCS advisors are available to talk with alumni about a variety of graduate programs, including law school and advanced degrees in health professions. Please visit the links below for additional information about these services.
Alumni are invited to partner with UCS and Yale College in many ways. Consider Sharing Your Expertise by participating in a UCS educational program or hosting a student at your organization through the job shadowing program or by Posting a Job or Internship.
